About Us

JREP is a locally-owned real estate development and investment company based in German Village. JREP was founded in 2021 by Jared Jablonka, a Columbus native with 15+ years of development experience, primarily in the Washington, DC region. We partner with local land owners and business owners to maximize the value of their properties and be good neighbors for the surrounding community. Our mission is to create unique real estate products in urban-infill locations that meet the needs of Columbus's residents, workers and retail customers. Our unique projects are defined by creativity, strategic design, and long term sustainability. With an uncompromising commitment to creating value, JREP maximizes returns for owners and investors with a focus on opportunistic investments across a wide range of asset classes including multifamily, hospitality, retail, and industrial / flex properties.

Our primary focus is acquiring historically significant, urban infill properties in and around Columbus, Ohio. We also partner with and participate in larger commercial acquisitions on a national basis, with select sponsors and real estate investment managers. JREP owns commercial and residential properties in Ohio as well as in Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and North Carolina. 

Prior to founding JREP, Mr. Jablonka was a founder and managing member of various real estate investment and development partnerships in Washington DC, delivering 40+ projects with a total development value of roughly $130 million. Mr. Jablonka is a licensed real estate agent in Ohio, with e-Merge Real Estate, and holds professional licenses/credentials for property management and commercial real estate appraisal.
